Privacy notice
Effective October 28, 2026
This notice explains how personal information is handled on americansi.foundation (the "Site"). The Site is operated by the ASI Working Group on behalf of the proposed American Super Intelligence Foundation, a nonprofit organization in formation that has not yet been incorporated. References to "we" and "us" mean the ASI Working Group.
What we collect
- Sign-in cookie. When you enter the access password, the Site sets one cookie,
asi_session, to keep you signed in for up to 30 days. It holds only an expiry time and a cryptographic signature. It contains no personal information and is strictly necessary for the Site to work. - Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits to the Site. It records the pages viewed, the site that linked you here, your country, and your browser and device type. It uses no cookies, does not fingerprint your device, does not follow you across other websites and does not identify you. We see only totals.
- Visit records. To understand who the materials are reaching, the Site records the time of each visit, the pages you open and how far you watch each film, together with your approximate location (city and country) and the name of the network you connect from, such as your employer or internet provider, as reported by Cloudflare. It does not store your IP address. It keeps a one-way code that changes daily, so visitors can be counted without being identified, and it links the pages viewed within one signed-in session. Records are deleted after 90 days.
- Technical data. The Site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver and secure the Site, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not use this information to identify you.
- Email. If you write to us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you include in your message.
What we do not do
- We do not use advertising, tracking pixels, cross-site tracking or third-party cookies.
- We do not sell or rent personal information, or share it for advertising.
- Apart from Cloudflare's visit-counting script, the Site loads nothing from third parties. Fonts, films and documents are served from the Site itself.
How we use information
We use the sign-in cookie to give you access to the Site, visit statistics and visit records to understand how the materials are used and by which organizations, technical data to keep the Site available and secure, and correspondence to reply to you and to carry out the work of the proposal. We keep correspondence only as long as that work requires.
Service providers
We rely on Cloudflare to host the Site and on Microsoft to host our email. They process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Children
The Site is intended for adults evaluating the proposal. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Your choices
You can clear the sign-in cookie at any time by signing out or deleting cookies in your browser. To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, write to privacy@americansi.foundation.
Changes
We will update this notice when the Foundation is established and as the Site changes. The effective date above shows the latest version.
